Privacy Policy

This policy covers Bizgrapes’ website (bizgrapes.com), GrapeScore, and the Bizgrapes AI app. It explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@bizgrapes.com.

Who we are

Bizgrapes is operated by Bizgrapes Platforms (SMC-Private) Limited. References to “we,” “us,” or “Bizgrapes” mean this entity.

What we collect

Depending on which of our products you use:

Account information — email address, display name, and any assistant name you set, when you create a Bizgrapes AI account.
Chat content — messages you send to the assistant, and any images or files you upload (for example, a logo for a GrapeScore audit), so we can generate a response and keep your chat history available to you.
Usage data — message counts, feature usage (like presets or folders), and basic app diagnostics, to keep the service reliable and within fair-use limits.
Device information — general device and app version info, for troubleshooting.
Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your card details.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (health data, government ID numbers, financial account details) through any Bizgrapes product.

How we use it

To operate the assistant and generate responses to your messages.
To keep your chats, folders, and settings synced across sessions.
To send account-related email (verification, password resets) via our transactional email provider.
To maintain, secure, and improve our products.
To provide customer support when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal data. By default, we do not use your chat content to train AI models beyond what’s needed to generate your own responses. The one exception is described below, and it only applies if you turn it on yourself.

Improving future AI models

Off by default. Found under Account → Privacy in the app as “Help improve Grapea.”

We’re developing future versions of Grapea, Bizgrapes’ AI assistant. With your explicit, opt-in permission, we may use the questions and messages you send (not the assistant’s replies) to help train and improve these future versions.

This is always off unless you turn it on yourself in Settings. If you don’t opt in, none of your chat content is used for this purpose, and everything else in this policy still applies as normal.

You can turn this setting off at any time. Turning it off stops future messages from being used; it does not retroactively remove messages already collected while it was on, unless you also delete your account or contact us to request removal.

We use a small number of service providers to run Bizgrapes. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

Anthropic (Claude API) — processes your messages to generate the assistant’s responses.
Supabase — hosts our database and authentication (stores your account, chats, folders, and settings).
Resend — sends account-related emails on our behalf (from accounts.bizgrapes.com).
Google Play Billing — handles subscription payments if you upgrade to a paid plan.

We do not sell or rent your data to advertisers or other third parties.

Data retention

We keep your account and chat data for as long as your account is active. Deleted chats and folders are held for 30 days before permanent removal, in case you change your mind. If you delete your account, your data — including chats, folders, and profile information — is permanently removed.

This also applies to any messages collected under “Improving future AI models”: deleting your account removes the raw stored copies, and your data is excluded from any future training. One limit worth stating plainly: if your data already helped train a version of Grapea that has already been released, that specific version can’t be selectively retrained to remove it. Your data simply won’t be part of any training that happens after your deletion request.

Your choices

You can rename or delete individual chats and folders at any time.
You can change your assistant’s name, or reset it to default, in Settings.
You can turn “Help improve Grapea” on or off at any time in Settings.
You can delete your account entirely from within the app (Settings), which permanently removes your data.
You can manage or cancel a paid subscription directly through Google Play.

Children’s privacy

Bizgrapes products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products evolve. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of Bizgrapes products after a change means you accept the updated policy.
